  2. It is little different today: scientific rivalries abound, and a roomful of scientists has more inflated egos than a room full of politicians or Hollywood celebrities. That said, I still prefer the scientists.

  3. Probably one of the most famous book in popular culture, but rarely read, much less understood of correctly quoted. "Principia', and " Micrographia" and several others are more regarded in scientific circles mainly as they cement the foundations of modern science.
