  3. Probably a good this, that film was highly inaccurate. I know it is linked to a resurgence of Scottish national pride, and I will likely be told to ignore the errors, but it wasn't accurate with history.

  4. Yes, though unfortunately the same with so many figures from history. Is a bit of a bummer when we modern people like hard facts regarding history, yet they are so often missing, or found to be false.

  5. Well, it is very unlikely a minor noble from his era would have conceived or fought for anything approaching modern ideas of freedom. That would have been remarkable, and commented on.

  8. Well, you can fight for historical reasons, or remain in the UK for welfare. The Scots chose the latter as independence will cut off funds from Westminster, and the Scots would have to go it alone. Most Scots don't want that.
