  4. After the build-up, the punch line. The punch line of this video: "Trump is a demagogue." But you're not getting it. Vox went about it wrong. They should have first prepped the audience by explaining what demagoguery is. Americans have a demagogic tradition. Father Coughlin, Senator McCarthy and Governor Wallace practiced it. Vox could have laid bare demagogic tropes. The savior incites the crowd. He seduces with easy answers, and hints that someone will reap well-deserved hurt. The mob roars its approval. Donald Trump's campaign style merges comfortably with this tradition. For proof review what he has said. Vox provides examples. But then again, an educational video about demagoguery, especially one produced by Vox, would probably bounce off Trump supporters: "Just more propaganda from biased, libtard media."

His buildings weren't intended for the convenience of people. Their entire purpose was to intimidate with a show of overwhelming power. New Berlin would have been as practical as a Potemkin Village. Think Wagnerian opera stage set on a massive scale.
