  2. I've a cousin in Münster who visits occasionally, and every visit must include a Graeter's stop. I'd like to see video tours of Cincinnati's top ice cream parlors, like Graeter's or Aglamesis, and compare these with ice creams available in your typical German parlor. I can tell you now that the USA will come out number one by a wide margin. In my experience what passes for ice cream in Germany we'd call "ice milk." Beyond that, the proportions are tiny with prices steep. The locals seem satisfied with this, though, because they don't know any better. They've nothing to make comparisons with--no competition. Why a Yankee ice cream parlor hasn't opened in Germany is beyond me. They'd get mobbed.
