  8.  @1111Tactical  If it is based on obvious falsehoods and superstition that is a weak and dangerous foundation. Morals and mannerisms are social tradeoffs and compromises. Customs are often awful such as segregation and strict enforcement of gender roles. Atheism is not indoctrination since it is critical thought not uncritical.

Well we don't like that being strict we will kill in wars and capital punishment and if a slave runs away and if you twitch near the police. Tradeoff breaking the word. Luckily the USA was not founded as a Christian nation so it gave protection to all religions and anti-religions. Read the Thomas Jefferson edit of the Bible. Completely immoral heresy to Christians yet the most moral realistic rendition of Jesus.
