The mental state of those who make profit out of it will definitely have a problem because of the amount of money required for it to process from location to location. However there is an enormous amount of power and control from local areas in where these people compromises with federal government that it is rather spend less on the production itself than the whole entire coordination in order to make their plan happens... $$$$ dollar signs.

@agarion101 you clearly seem to know how it goes for the villagers when it comes to money deals. considering it is actually less to spend for production than the sale amount because you know..... protection fees, services or whatnot as a bridge that becomes a way to feed the families and the people who produce it.

@zack-lk8if coke - oh i remember the herb before it became a coke... It used to be a medicine herb at the time for emergencies, until the transition ocurred from villagers that many people around who were one as well found a way to make profit out of it that later became a cartel. Thus it becomes an organization where it revolves around the importance to transfer that production rather than making it. It's a one side from your part, that you'll have to consider the economy at the time for when the cocaine industry started in order to understand why they change their lives.
