@سروشرهیده According to the hamas run Health Ministry, that is the estimated amount. Considering that they are the ones who stated that you have to understand the reality, the lack of defense and the neglect that hamas had towards the Palestinians in Gaza, which led to their projected number being accumulated. Don't get me wrong, Israel is to blame, but you also have to hold hamas responsible for October 7th because the question still remains...
why so many people? Well, as we know for decades, these two regions have always been in conflict over who owns what and what to do with power and religion, we know from evidence about who and what led to October 7 in Israel that caused Israel to retaliate by putting Many others in Gaza at risk.
The real piece of evidence was that hamas felt that annexing certain parts of Israel would greatly affect the movement in the West Bank, as well as the houthis and Iran in hopes of unbalancing the odds and motivating people to do follow the same steps. However, Instead, what happened was that they attacked Israel and took away people who weren't even Israelis because hamas knew they didn't have the ability to defend themselves by land, sea and air... So they used years and years of taxpayer funds from Palestinian residents and corrupt international organizations to build tunnels, or whatnot, and all that while hiding among the Palestinian people. Many examples in which consist show the bargain of hostages and post bases. Again, why were these people a hit by the Israeli army? Because humans tend to hold grudges that I believe were intentional from the beginning after October 7th. In conclusion, Both sides needs to be investigated, trial and prosecuted for their actions.
Side Note, While many people would like to blame the US, sometimes you have to look closely at the world and see how things would change without them sending their most powerful ship during the first phase of the war in order to protect their units stationed around the Middle East, and we are talking about countries who have diplomatic relationships with the US. Another thing, I would like to note that it is also to economically protect assets that would, otherwise affect many populations around the world that depend on diplomatic solutions or foreign economic relations. We are not just talking about the US, but many others who uses the same logistics. It is a very complex topic that requires a tremendous amount of time, attention, patience and knowledge.
