@mihadalzayat6957 No one wants to pretend this started on October 7th... What the original commenter is trying to point out is that almost everyone seems to ignore Hamas' recent actions, like any other previous government or organizations who ruled Gaza since 1948. We need to talk about both sides so we can better understand what it means to liberate Palestine because the palestinian people deserve freedom from Israel AND from Hamas.

@Jexo_FR The reason for Israel's counterattack in Gaza is due to the physical appearance of Hamas in Gaza, as well as the foreigners and Israeli citizens who were taken hostage into Gaza on October 7. So if people really cared about the palestenian people and their safety leaving gaza, they should instead demand that Hamas leaders evacuate their supporters, and troops from Gaza so that civilians can be treated by humanitarian organizations and receive essential aid.
