@chansermish2406 what about this, what about that... If you really want to conversate about an overall topic, then you can go ahead and explain every single countries and events that happened. However, what you might not understand is, how this video mainly narrates torwards the current situations, such as Ukraine/Russian War. We could say, they're certain dots that could match from previous wars, however we shouldn't "Compare" or use a "What about..." considering how every event are partially different and seperate from eachother.

@chansermish2406 if you're going to comdemned all of the super power countries who did war crimes, then you can go ahead, but at this point, you'll need to articulate with primary sources such as evidences or any within the range of not giving a mental or physical point of view. otherwise, it would only be considered an Opinion. Using "What aboutism" is a very poor mental tactic.

@infinity whataboutism doesn't bring light upon an historical event, but it is an opinion wrap around the facts.."What aboutism," focuses on the idea of comparing two different events into which are the worse. "What aboutism" is a mental tactic use to argue, rather than to "bring light." Realistically, It's how you articulate a narrative... One of the poor methods to use is "what aboutism".

@infinity great way to articulate a response...Now you understand what I was typing about...Like i said, they are two historical events. It shouldn't be compare to, since it consists different timelines, as well as the decisions that were/are made during these events. We could idealogically connect the dots, but in order to be reliable, evidences are required. Let the truth speak itself, Otherwise, It's an Opinion by someone who uses factual information to create a point. In other words; It's how you navigate a narrative, and by using the method of "What aboutism" loses credibility.

@infinity realistically, In this case... we are commenting In a youtube video based of a current situation about "Ukraine/Russia War". Whataboutism is a very poor form to engage on a serious matter. Unfortunely the majority of most youtube channels who talk about the current event are commented by BOTs and individuals who uses "WhatAboutism". I could give one great example that's irrelevant to the topic of this video, but I've seen many of the people use "Whataboutism" during politics, between "BLM & Trump Supporters". At the end of day, it is an hypocritical aspect without a view from a broader picture.

@infinity that's what I've been talking about lol, whether it might be a new government or not from 40 years ago, or last year... using, What aboutism to prove a point of which generation or year have been the worse is basically absurd. It sure is a criticism by those who live under the same regime that caused all of this... hypocricy. In conclusion, using this method of "Whataboutism" is highily likely to cause a deceptive battle within the digital world, because it holds or starts arguments that are unnecessary if not done with a proper education. We are living through this moment now...

@infinity let' say the rumours about osama controls nuclear weapons is true, will the country get hit with sanctions? As far as we are concern, Osama was not a diplomatic entity, or rather a president of a country, but an individual with a militant army considered as a "Terrorist Groups" who were inhabited within the lands of Pakistan as well as Afghanistan as a station ground to use as battle field, which means they were difficult to search for, just like the rest of leader militant groups across the world. When it came down to a whole corrupted government the biggest relieve was, they didn't held Nuclear weapons. Possibly the decision that were made at the time are wrong that now we are looking at different strategies against people who have tremendous power over an army... in this case, it's far greater than just numbers of people and materials. Putin has a ground funded-establishment programs like scientists and programmers who are professionally able to create and expand their operations such as Bio, nuclear weapons and whatnot . Sanctions are one of the proper strategies to minimize the momentum specially against one of the biggest and power house militaries in the world. What aboutism is the use to say, "well the U.S is also a powerhouse and attacked a foreign and small country like Ukraine". In your head would sound like it make sense but, overall they're millions of details that seperates these events from eachother. Using what aboutism is just, another blantant code to waste everybody's time, including mine. But I choose to respond for the purpose to bring awareness to those who are reading. The "What aboutism" is now an algorithim In the digital world that affects the mind's of the people, started from the BOTs and now some individuals are responding based of that.

@infinity I normally do not write right away, when I have a responsibility In my life. If, you think I dissapeared because of a question, then you're far from wrong. When I get free time, I would rather do what I need to do first, before trying to conversate or write on a social Network. In order to answer your question, I am searching for primary resources... @infinity you need to identify the specific details within the time span, In how it lead to an Invasion of Iraq 2003 and why sanctions weren't further implemented to the US and EU countries... just a few principles; You need to look at the historical events WITHIN the span, U.S congressional upbringing decisions from senates, congressmen, and executive administration that would lead to treaties 2/3 for the order to be execute in behalf of their natio ...now you need to include the full-foundation progress behind the overall decisions from the EU countries, to which in total becomes the mark of what partially realistically happened during that moment and it is very difficult info to obtain.
