@patriciahadley2374 my opinion of Blackpool is “the golden mile” so named because thats where the money is made,… That beach in Blackpool is fabulous..that will always be the draw,thats going nowhere..what you really need here is ,dunes… Imagine that ? Gorgeous..they’ve got them in Rhyl…i love that place,i try and go every year..

@patriciahadley2374 yes what we need is the university of performing arts in Blackpool..and other learned bodies.. hotels burgers and slot machine formulae are passé..Blackpool is now ready for a makeover as a central hub between Scotland and the South..the Motorway in has already been built..let’s get the Blackpool uni guys back home and developing the place instead of developing London..Blackpool should be competing with Alton towers and Thorpe park..Blackpool has lost its way…but Blackpool was developed when Blackpool entrepreneur kids stayed at home..instead of vacating for London..like they’ve done for years. The North South Brain Drain..let’s end it now…..

I think it will be a man with vision driving an excavator with a swing ball on the front..the cost to refurb them is prohibitive..only feasible if its called Mayfair..
