  1. My cousin married a Bengali Hindu and my brother's daughter's mother in law is a Jewish Indian from Kerala. There seems to be a real affinity between Jews and Indians. Ethnically our family is way more diverse than I was growing up where all my relatives were Jews from Eastern Europe.

He also assisted an emissary from Lubavitch (who had no Chinese language skills) in setting up services in his city in Canton province. While as the film states Judaism is not a recognized religion in China, the authorities were not bothered if obviously non Chinese people were taking part. When local Chinese people became interested and started to go to these services, it was another matter.

  18. @KING OF OUTER SPACE Though its interesting -since there are not a lot of Jews in India - my cousin's Indian family compared Judaism of being sort of like Islam. which is true in a lot of ways.
