On the point of jacket - I would suggest to acquire a few different ones and let people think that it is just a fashion that you like. Maybe you can order some wind/rain jackets and put some logo on them and declare it your "merch" , so that people can buy it. Anyway , it is almost always cloudy and rainy in Britain (in autumn and winter for sure) , so , you might as well wear a bowl hat and a umbrella - no one would react.
Now about Mr Trump. These popular executive orders that he signed (as promised in the presidential campaign) are mostly - popular. Of course , the country will benefit (hopefully for a long time) from anti-woke decisions and measures and from securing the border (which is , kind of , one of the main things that makes a country). Though , they are putting in custody the illegals who are "secured" by the state - those who's rent is being covered by the state and they have an address to receive state help (pocket money). They will have more problems on finding people that aren't in the program - it may turn into a witch-hunt (I mean , people taking the law into their hands). We'll see , it is still early days.
As for CO2 emissions - it was a fraud since beginning and it has (for the most part) nothing to do with climate change (we do have climate change , but it's a natural thing). Anyone could find that out (since we have internet) , but no , it's easier to swallow up something that talking heads say on the telly (pushing some extremely rich people agenda). But , more importantly , in USA case , it will ease a little bit of pressure from production part of economy. I doubt that'll better ordinary people lives , but it may influence job opportunities. I strongly doubt that much of the saved government money will be directed toward people - it may cause bigger profits for some people though. Leaving Paris accords and WHO may upset some rich people , but they will wait him out , unless he really gets into stuff that are causing much of the America's problems. He never mentioned US debt problem (and internal debt problem) , or homelessness , infrastructure , healthcare , racism and such. He blamed it all on Biden and his crew (well , they were guilty for the such invasion of illegals and for institutionalizing "wokeism" and helping inflation growth) and the illegals themselves (which can't be blamed for the inflation , pore living standards and the rest of the problems , besides some criminal activity) , but the problems were there (less of it) even when he was serving his first term. We'll se how the rest of his proclaimed agenda goes (like cutting off military help for Ukraine) , because of the people he surrounded himself with. I'll say it again , most of those people will turn on him (or just ignore his orders) as soon as he's decisions touch , or affect interests they are involved in (or funded by). Ordinary people will struggle economically as before him.
I still don't quite understand your excitement with him. Well , from a British perspective and with your current situation - PM (and government) - Trump looks better by a country mile (at least , for start , he does some things , that he was saying he would do , if elected - results of those are yet to be seen) , but he is NOT a people person , not from the people , nor for the people , he just present himself that way sometimes. In my opinion , he will alienate himself (or US , if you will) from Europe (EU and NATO) including GB (I don't see current government to get along with him on any topic , unless they are forced). He will lean heavily (bully) smaller countries to do his bidding. GB can't resolve it's problems in a way that Trump is trying to do it - unless you have some sort of dictatorship.
Leaders who take care of their people are on the other side(s) of the world (beside taking care of the country's interests).

@BritishLandeur best politician in the west (you've probably ment in anglo sphere) in power - probably. In the west (as a broader term) - surely not. In Europe (in power) there are Orban and Fico (Melony is all talk , no walk) , but there is Milei in Argentina , which is strange , but with extraordinary results. There are some in Europe also , but they are opposition for now. Mostly , the rest of the people are Soros educated , globalist , WEF puppies , with deminished sence of reality. They have (for the most part) developed sence of media effects and how something may look , to the ordinary woter (but they went too far wth lies).
We have military surplus stores here (mostly of NATO equipment-wardrobe) with excellent quality and in different colour options. Jackets (anti perspirant , bridable , wind and rain proof) is about 80 euro. For some reason , most of stuff they sell , has "tactical" added to the name of the product and I've always wondered are there , in existance , like "operational" , or "strategical" pants (trousers) , but still those are very good guality. If you don't want to do merchendize , you may go shoping , next time you come here .
