@delmns The family state that she was flying to Ireland because the boiler wasn't working. Bit odd when you consider that she had her housekeeper to open the cottage for a repair guy a week earlier. Would you really fly all the way to Ireland and drive all the way there on the 20th, leaving your son just before Christmas, to check on a boiler repair when you already had a housekeeper having already done it a week ago? The housekeep stated, "I got a heating repairman from Bantry and he fixed the problem and repaired the boiler. That was more than a week before Sophie arrived". Nah, there is something more to the December visit THAT close to Christmas, it certainly isn't this boiler repair that had already been done the week before. Why would she ask people to go with her to check a boiler?

While possible, perhaps he simply did not. We do know that Alfie (or Shirley) did quickly inform others by telephone though, any of us would I suppose. A person who knows them stated that she knew of the murder an hour after discovery and she lives in Cork City! She stated that the guards have never wanted a statement from her.

"Marie Farrell contacted the Gards. She didn’t need to." So? "14 year olds don’t make up stories of confessions to murder." It was his mother that made a statement attesting to what her son had heard. The boy didn't even mention the conversation he had with Bailey after it took place, so not exactly traumatised was he. In fact he still accepted lifts off Bailey! He has never attended any court hearings and has never made any claims since, it has always been his mother. " Christmas trees do not leave scratches" Yes they do, try climbing one, topping one and then dragging it home. Jules' daughters both made statements attesting that he had scratches before the murder. Another person witnessed him dragging the tree home. "Sophie mentioned the name Ian Bailey to friends in France." No, she did not. "A whole load of circumstantial evidence builds a compelling case." No it does not. Hence why the Irish prosecutors refused to even charge Bailey, twice!

That used Marie Farrell's lies that she had seen him. Lies that she admitted that were lies and the court knew were lies. Is it acceptable to you that a criminal court used known lies to convict a person for murder? Maybe it's something to do with the family knowing the French president who personally got involved....

@fantasyboxing71 That'll because they are both my account and despite me saying this to Brian on several occasions, he still rambles on about it like he has made some stunning discovery. I use two due to YT shadow banning comments, you have to stop posting for a while and swap to another. Comments from my other account are not showing up. He is convinced that I am Bailey because another troll like Brian changed their display name to the same as mine and started posting that they were Bailey and he fell for it. Unfortunately Brian is a bit thick and doesn't know you can change your display name to whatever you like.

The prosecution that tore apart their own police investigation and refused to charge Bailey, twice. I suspect your "evidence" will be the same nonsense repeated by the ignorant watching Netflix and reading Nick Foster's laughable, inaccurate, and biased book. When even the PROSECUTION say that the evidence is not there, we should be listening to them. Nick Foster is a grifter and you fell for his lies, he literally leaches off the families grief.

@charlesd3a In the Sophie case there were initially over 50, in just 10 days there was only one. How is it even possible to properly investigate 50 down to 1 in just two weeks? If you search for Karl Heinz Wolney you'll come across articles on the other suspects that never get mentioned like him, another is George Pecout. The cold case investigation also mentions that Sophie had met with two French men who were hiding out from a criminal gang. There is a lot more to Sophie's life that is not mentioned, such as that, the affairs she had, the pending divorce, her husband having a child born just a year after her death and so on. The criminality of the people who gave statements against Bailey doesn't get mentioned either. There are some real shady "witnesses" when you dig into them. One of them alleged that he was bribed with drugs and money to give a statement. The police were investigated and found to have removed pages from their jobs books, missing evidence, missing key statements etc., they were even secretly recorded discussing possibly altering statements, no evidence was found of it though, but they did discuss it, so did they? Who knows! The detectives from that time refused to cooperate with the investigation into them.
