The network you are on is irrelevant, it is literally the point of encrypting the messages end-to-end! There is much more to this, Snapchat are clearly reading everyone's "private" messages and forwarding them to local law enforcement. Their so-called end-to-end encryption is a lie, they will be filtering messages for key words.
