  2. @C H  The oil pump pumps oil to the filter. So oil that goes thru the pump is NOT FILTERED YET!!! This is a great way to ruin your oil pump, and a ruined oil pump won't make the engine happy for very long. Great logic.....THINK before firing off stupid comments......
