  7. Tyson would've had a chance against Tua when he still had Rooney in his corner. But only a chance. Tua punched just as hard, or harder, and had a better chin. As great as Rooney and D'Amato were as trainers, you cant train a chin. Tua had one of the best chins in history. On the other hand, if Tyson landed his best shot on Tua's chin, well, I think Tua would probably not have taken a punch like that hypothetical Tyson shot in his life. So who knows? My $$ would still be on Tua

  10. ​ @markgroves4167 Byrd was a boxer. Tua was a slugger. A good boxer usually beats a good slugger. Usually. As for a Tyson/Tua match, whoever landed their best shot first would likely win. I do think Tua was highly underrated. Tremendous puncher, tremendous chin. I think Tua would win by KO. BUT, Tuas chin would never face a tougher test. Mike packed a Helluva punch. Tua was never hit by anyone like Tyson. So, that granite chin could crack....
