@Kaka Mbweha My money would be on Ike. His chin is better, much better, than Tysons. If Tua couldn't take him out, neither would Tyson. Ikes stamina was better than Tysons, too. No way Mike would have been able to throw this many punches

After two matches like they had with each other, it's no wonder they both left a piece of themselves in the ring after that 2nd fight. How come nobody ever gives Ruddock credit for fighting Mike Tyson with a broken jaw??? All you ever hear is how Ali fought Norton with a broken jaw! Norton had nowhere near Tysons power. Can you imagine the pain in Ruddocks face when Tyson hit his busted chops??!!! By the way, that first fight WAS stopped way too soon. WAY TOO SOON!!!

Michael Moorer???

@Terrence PERKINS I suspect you weren't around in the 70s. Ken lost only seven fights. Many of those 7 were split, and plain bad, decisions. Holmes didn't beat up Ken. It wasn't even close to being decided until the 15th round. You are either ignorant of boxing history, or a Norton hater. A strong case could be made that he beat Ali ALL 3 fights

@terrenceperkins5282 It's LEON SPINKS, NOT Michael, and neither had a last name of Spikes

Mental illness is a terrible thing. Nobody will ever know the depths of depression unless you've been there. If healthy mentally, McCall could've easily become HW champion.....

Jet black Ninja....Watch the video.....Or at least watch it once. Tyson sure didn't enjoy getting nailed, any more than any other boxer. The first guy that ever hurt Mike was Tony Tucker. If the uppercut Tucker rocked Tyson with would've hit him lower in its upward arc, Douglas wouldn't have been the first guy to beat Tyson. Tucker was a Helluva fighter, when he really got serious. Could've been an all time great....

There have been many "underrated" HW champions in history, but Norton is probably the most underrated of them all. Anyone who can arguably beat Ali 3 times, and gave Larry Holmes the fight of his life, has to be rated in the top 10. Depending on which era you could put Norton in, he could've been a champion for several years. Criminally underrated. Even though Foreman took him out in 2 rounds, George adopted his crablike defense in his comeback

@ricdafric7565 Nah, it meant something. But not as much as people think....

@jessehobby4964 My $$$ would be on Tua. He was NEVER down from any punch anyone ever landed. Tysons jaw wasn't what his nut-huggers think. Buster wasn't a slugger like Tua, and no trainer ever could strengthen a guys ability to take a punch, so don't anybody even start about Rooney.........

Who's voice sounds different? Not Foremans. He sounds just like he did 50 years ago. But his attitude is 180° opposite.....

Briggs wouldn't last 5 rounds against Tua. First off, Tua had an iron jaw, one of the best. I doubt Briggs could hurt him. Secondly, Tua had as much power as anyone. He'd wipe the canvas with a goldilocks mop....😂😂

@dyschromotopia one who understands English in a bout with 2 English speaking fighters shouldn't have been too hard to find!
1
@thegoat6116 Against what level of competition? If Briggs wouldve gotten the 1973 version of George Foreman, he'd still be sleeping.....

@jesusrivera6424 There is no such thing as a lucky punch. When you aim and throw a punch, if it lands where you aimed it, it's not lucky. Pretty sure Tarver didn't aim for Roy's armpits! That said, age gets us all, eventually. The guys with the quick reflexes are the ones most affected. But even guys like Hopkins and Foreman eventually have to give it up.
1
@Vinnie Dixon Puhhhleeeese!!! Leonard outboxing Jones. You got some good stuff there, selling any?
1
@SONOFPEARL315 Why does everyone ignore Roy DID BEAT Tarver in their first fight. Sure, it was closer than most any other Jones fight, but he DID beat him. I'll never understand why fighters gain weight to move up to next division. If Roy would've fought Ruiz with Roy at his normal 175-180lbs, I think he'd have done even better than he did. Then you don't need to lose weight to come back down to LHW. My .02

@JohnEastmanExAttyAtLaw No, he wasn't. Prime isn't usually your mid 30s

It wasn't soon after. Damn near 3 years!!!

@weirdoslovemrshelton I hate to say it, because I don't like Green, but when both of them were in top shape, if Green fought the way he did against Tyson, I'd say Mitch Green would kick Smiths Ass....
1
@islander5858 Uh, Marvin Hagler says hold my beer.....
1
@jamescook4116 His last name was StewarD, with a D, NOT Stewart.....
1
@ulrickennedy4920 ....everything right, EXCEPT being impartial. Right. Like saying a rapist is a nice guy, other than that! JEEZ. This clown should never be a referee again, and I don't like either fighter, Benn, and especially McLellan. But fair is fair, and this ref sucked....
1
@warrenwalker7613 Ever hear of Donald Curry? Terry Norris? You know, the Terry Norris who kicked Leonard's ass up to his shoulders?
1
I guess you could fairly say that I didnt follow Jones career much. In fact, I never saw him fight live. Just didnt interest me. However-From the age of 20 thru 32 or 33 years old, you can see Roy was virtually unbeatable. I think he would've beaten Tarver all 3 times if they'd met at 28 years old each. I've never seen a guy his size that quick. Have seen damn few that quick period..

King is still alive because he certainly won't ever get to Heaven, and even the devil doesn't want his sorry ass down there, either
1
@normcmiller Then Ruiz didn't stand toe to toe with him! Tua stood to to flat on his ass Ruiz....
1
Almost destroyed my ass

His rivals name was pronounced Dee-Haysues, not your pronunciation. C'mon, man. This questions your boxing IQ, for sure
