  1. This is nothing new. I have a 1947 Martin twin cylinder 2 stroke outboard motor that uses 4 stroke type poppet valves. It still runs as good as new. Best little gasoline powered trolling motor I've ever owned. There's a reason I still have it almost 70 years after my father bought it new. How can this engine be considered a Diesel if it uses spark ignition?....
