This is quite different, USA were never going to destroy Vietnam, and USA never invaded the attacker, ie North Vietnam.

@dristmist7401 The attacking party was North Vietnam, napalm was mostly sent on military and strategic targets, so what was the problem ? Did USA try to annex a part of Vietnam ? Replace Vietnamese by English ? Deport its population ? Russians do all that.

"Manymany massaacres" nope, mostly collateral damages, and the rare civilian massacres were always condemned by USA military hierarchy. Moreover, Vietnam war was broadly covered by the medias, and the worst massacres were done between VIETNAMESE people, not by americans. Are russian medias allowed to really cover war in Ukraine ? Agent orange was a terrible idea, but you forget one thing : the attacker was north vietnam, not USA. USA were never going to "destroy Vietnam", and USA never invaded the attacker, ie North Vietnam. @dristmist7401 Nope, USA didn't invade North Vietnam and didn't invade South Vietnam. There is no justification, and there is no comparison between the 2 wars, and indeed Bruce is comparing both wars. You should learn history, and learn to read.

@Frzned9x South vietnam never signed said geneva convention, for an obvious reason : communists were unable to organize free elections anywhere, and never did. Half of Europe was under the yoke of communits who never organized fair elections. There were not a single reason to believe communists would organize fair elections in North Vietnam lmao. Just compare North Korea and South Korea : which one is better ? Btw North Vietnam violated the Geneva Accords by failing to withdraw all Viet Minh troops from South Vietnam, stifling the movement of North Vietnamese refugees, and conducting a military buildup that more than doubled the number of armed divisions in the North Vietnamese army while the South Vietnamese army was reduced by 20,000 men. USA never tried to invade North Vietnam, or annex any part of vietnam, while Russia tries to annex parts of Ukraine while invading whole Ukraine. That's not the same at all. @renatorenato3703 USA never killed millions people in Cambodia and Laos. In Cambodia, communists red khmers killed millions of their own people and genocided local non-khmer populations. USA fought against North Vietnam which was an autocratic communist shithole invading South Vietnam, sure with questionable means, but don't forget who was the attacker. Fighting against communism is never a problem, without that there would be no South Korea. Do you think North korea is better than south korea ? Do you think continental China is better than Taïwan ? Which country developped more freely between West Germany and East Germany ?
