  1.  @ckr3167  funny enough studies show that chlorinating chicken does not get rid of the bacteria, and is therefor riskier for consumers than unchlorinated chicken raised at higher standards: Tldr: chlorination is not the problem, but what it tries to cover up.

  2.  @ckr3167  Animal welfare. Chlorinating chicken allows for much lower welfare standards, as banning chlorination requires higher standards to get clean meat. Isn’t that an issue to fight for? Furthermore, chlorinating chicken to get rid of bacteria (which it is only doing partly) is worse than preventing said bacteria to be there in the first place.

  5.  @randomguy9515  compare the economies of California and Mississippi, the difference is bigger than between Germany and Italy. Still, same currency.
