  11. What did Putin gain? He further pushes Ukraine towards the EU and accelerates EU´s move to decrease energy dependence. Russia needs EU money, they are rather poor.

  13. @Юрий & Ко Ukraine has the most fertile land on this planet. It is a massive geopolitical asset. As one of EU major policies is food security, having Ukraine closely aligned or even a member is in the interest of the EU and its members.
