  1. There are several paths to save the EU (does it even need saving?). Volts way is one. EU, as an international organization, is in infinite reform to adapt to an ever changing environment. It is very flexible and bottom up (members decide, not a central EU body). That is why it is so successful. It is flexible and not centralized.

  10.  @andrasadam8256  You are mistaken. For an EU law to become national law, they have to pass the national parliament. And on financial matters, they have full control. Not a Cent goes to the EU without the national parliaments agreeing.

  17.  @carl6589  Forestry is an industry, and if you want a single market, harmonized standards in industries are necessary. Therefor this is not a local issue, or did the EU parliament pass a law exclusively on Swedish forests?

  18.  @TheSlyngel  Common market means same regulations for everyone in industries. If you sell the wood to other EU countries, rules have to be the same for everyone.
