@ВладАртемьев-ф3т Yes, because of the happy memories of Russian control, like 4-7 million dying of hunger.

Russia signed the Budapest memorandum, promising to honor Ukraines borders

@valentinmitterbauer4196 With the Russian economy being in a 5+ year decline, rising taxes, lowering living standards, Putin has less and less options to stay in control.

Russia signed an international treaty that it accepts Ukraine borders, and in return, Ukraine gave up its nukes. Great way if you want to show countries like Iran or North Korea they do not need nukes, when Ukraine is the example of a country giving them up, only to be sliced apart.

@gnrfanhad Poland has huge coastal waters, offshore windparks are possible and produce a lot of electricity, there are also steady winds. EU will never ban nuclear, France will not allow it.

@jerrynelson5289 Why so narrow minded? Combine wind and solar with water, hydrogen and geothermal. EU plans to use solar powered plants in Spain/Northern Africa to generate electricity, which then is converted to Hydrogen. Hydrogen can be used as an energy storage, converted back to electricity, can be burned for heating or even be used in chemical industry. Additionally, batteries become more and more viable.

what right has Russia to decide about other countries future? If Ukraine wants to join NATO, it is their decision, not Russia. My family is partly Russian. They are pissed because they see Ukraine as brothers/sisters. You dont attack your family. Putin did.
