Well, Johnson`s deal effectively lets Northern Ireland remain in the EU with a custom border in the Irish sea. This contradicts your statement that the UK would not give up Northern Ireland due to the high support for the Union: they already did. But as this is just an interesting scenario I enjoyed the video. Hopefully it never comes into reality, or in the case of Northern Ireland, returns to a dark past.

@rounsterbout The Republic of Ireland is a different country than the UK. The Republic or Ireland stays in the EU. And Johnson just gave Northern Ireland away to the EU, too.

@rounsterbout The Republic of Ireland is an independent country since 1921, long before the EU even existed. Ireland is welcoming immigrants, they already have an higher percentage of immigrants than the UK (UK only 10th in the EU). https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php/People_in_the_EU_-_statistics_on_origin_of_residents The UK should stop wanting to be a master to other countries. The EU is no master, but a union where the member nations have all the power.
