@luckyducky7166 why are 8 weeks not enough to ruin business? And in the election, less than half of the population voted for parties with an anti EU position, so the argument is hardly lost, only that the majority in the parliament has a rather limited connection to the majority of the popular vote.

@luckyducky7166 it was Johnson, after the deal was agreed, saying there are no non tariff issues, nor will there be a custom border in the Irish Sea. Both are lies. And when the government refuses to acknowledge reality, and let businesses suffer, those businesses will disappear in the matter of weeks. That is my point. Those businesses will be long gone before even one new trade deal is agreed.
