  1. About the 39bn: as those were calculated under the assumption of the UK leaving in April, it should be reduced by around 5bn at the end of October, as the UK still pays its contributions. Money is also not a big issue for the EU: Germany alone has a surplus of taxes of about 20 billion, and it is stretched over a couple of decades. The only thing Boris Johnson would accomplish is to trash UKs ratings, which are already worsening under Brexit.
