  1. Weapons have an effect on the war. Don’t need to be a military expert to know this. Furthermore, Ukraine is on the path to having a bigger army than Russia.

  4. This is objectively false. German nuclear energy was never that big, and it was used for electricity. Gas, on the other hand, is mainly used for heating and chemical processes. Two different uses.

  5. Gas plays only a minor role in German electricity (~10%). 30% is used by the industry (chemical processing), another third to heat homes.

  7.  @dnocturn84  Poland already send 200 tanks to Ukraine, and they are not at war with Russia. Why would it be different for Germany? Furthermore, why would Russia want to expand the war to NATO, when it already struggles with Ukraine? Last point: Ukraine can win (my definition, status quo ante 24th feb 2022) this war. Its army is already on the way to be bigger than Russias. Its equipment will soon be superior to Russias. And it is highly questionable if Putin would survive a full Russian mobilisation (never a good idea as a dictator to arm one’s population)
