Well, France is currently screwed due to its over reliance on nuclear, of which 50% are in forced shut of. Additionally, Germany uses gas to heat, not for electricity. Germany is an exporter of electricity.

Well, Germanys gas storage is at 75% and rising, while it decreased gas consumption by 15% and halved Russian gas imports. So apparently it’s possible

@msxcytb according to the head of French nuclear regulator, this problem is not yet understood and will take years to solve. It is Germany which saves France which its surplus electricity. Which brings up the question: why should Germany copy France, which is currently in deep trouble, when Germanys own strategy concerning electricity is apparently more reliable? Especially as Germanys main source for electricity is not gas (it is not even in the top3), but renewables.
