  1.    What about qualified staff, what about the suppliers, what about the necessary tools? If Airbus does not want to end up with their version of the 737 Max disaster, they will not rush it.

  2.  @altergreenhorn  Building up a completly new infrastructure is expensive. Pilots/technicians needs to be trained, new facilities for maintenance. Too expensive for most airlines. Furthermore, I am not aware of a new russian or chinese airplane available in the same market segment as the 737? Do you have a link?
