In other words, what Sicknick went through at the battle may well have been the last "nudge" to trigger the strokes. Greeson excited/exerted himself into a heart attack, and it's easy to see how. We could say the same about Philips's stroke, although that happened before the battle really began. As for Boyland, yes, she got wired on speed to go into battle, and overdosed. It's all related.

  2.  @dubreg6711  The coroner made it clear that everything that happened to Sicknick contributed to his strokes. One attacker worked himself into a heart attack, another had a stroke in a similar way, Boyland overdosed on amphetamines and/or was trampled as she moved into combat, and yes, Babbitt got shot. Those are just the immediate deaths.

  6.  @skibum415  No, this isn't true. Bowser had asked for Guard deployment a few weeks before this. It's true that at first, the Capitol Police and then the Sergeants-at-Arms said that it wouldn't be necessary, but they did start requesting help from the Guard during the attack, fairly early on, and yet the DoD delayed them for hours. Bowser scrambled to get help from elsewhere, including Virginia, the FBI, etc. Lots of people are in trouble due to the riots that you mention. In contrast, so far, most of the people who attacked the Capitol have gotten very light sentences. It's true that the plotters and members of organized groups haven't been sentenced yet, but the point is that there's a world of difference between civil unrest and a coup attempt.

  9.  @dubreg6711  If you're talking about the protesters who died after a stroke for one and a heart attack for the other, sure, it's more of a stretch. That's understood; you rarely hear about those two deaths, because there's not much to say.

  10.  @akhlaqali1139  That's not true. The grooming gangs in the UK are disproportionately comprised of British Pakistanis, either immigrants or UK-born. They do in fact groom/abuse/etc. lots of girls from their own communities, and said girls are particularly afraid to come forward because apparently, becoming a victim through no fault of their own will damage their marriage prospects. They're seen as being sullied or tainted, and it seems not to matter that none of it was their fault. You see? These Muslim (or at least Pakistani) cultural practices make things much, much worse.
