Most of the cops fought bravely (more than I would have predicted), but some either sympathized with the attackers and let them in, or were just too overwhelmed and didn't want to get beaten to a pulp.

Babbitt, the two men who over-exerted themselves to death, the woman who overdosed on amphetamines as she charged into battle, and the one arrestee who killed himself later, all died while trying to carry out Trump's coup.
