  4.  CharlesLee-m4f  No, they aren't babies. Embryos are one thing, fetuses are another, and babies are yet another. (Plus, one can look earlier at zygotes and blastocysts and whatnot, but that usually isn't tied to abortion.) Anyway, that makes all the difference. Embryos and fetuses lack personhood, the characteristics that make killing wrong. All of that arrives later. (Also, this is off the subject, but "left-wing" and "liberal" are not coterminous.)
