  1. No, it is not getting worse every single day. An increase in homicide began during the pandemic, but the rates of most kinds of crime have remained stable or continued to decline. Don't spread fear.

  2. "Crime crisis..." "Blue-state business..." Yes, it's Fox indeed, pushing the culture of fear. Most categories of crime in this country have steady (or even declining) rates, although there was a homicide upswing during/after the pandemic. This owner had a serious problem, and some places definitely do, but "crisis" and the "blue-state" snarl words are unnecessary. That sort of thing has negative effects on viewers.
