It's not funny. It's also not cheating, it's grooming a minor.

@The1stDukeDroklar No, it is not. The data make it clear.

@kaskade5909 That's not true. See the facts of the case; if it's not here, see the Law & Crime video. Besides, minors can't consent, and this sort of thing does a lot of psychological harm. What teens might think that they want is not necessarily what's good for them.

This isn't new. It's being taken more seriously, hence the increased reporting.
4
Victims/survivors of this sort of thing rarely come forward. That's true no matter the sexes involved.

@m.s.9744 I get the reference, but it's not nice at all. This is not a good thing for boys involved in situations like this. They aren't "lucky," and it's not "nice." This often leads to long-term difficulties with forming healthy relationships, understanding boundaries, consent, and so on. This is true no matter the sexes involved. If you seem to think otherwise, do you think that it should be legal?

@The1stDukeDroklar Your anecdotes, to the extent that they're true, are not the norm. Do you think that this behavior should be legal?

If anything, at least be glad that more people are taking this more seriously. For a long time, this behavior wasn't even a crime.

Once again, folks: This is not a good thing for boys involved in situations like this. They aren't "lucky," and it's not "nice." This often leads to long-term difficulties with forming healthy relationships, understanding boundaries, consent, and so on. This is true no matter the sexes involved. @montyspython7000 That's not true at all. Woman-boy cases were widely ignored until very recently, and leftists oppose the patriarchal attitude that these cases are good for the boys involved. Meanwhile, clergy are known to act like they can dictate morality to everyone else, especially related to sexual matters.
1
@DemiGod.. Exactly. That's patriarchy right there.
1
@gamermasterL On the contrary; patriarchal attitudes tell boys that this behavior is good for them.
1
@DemiGod.. Not so. Female "chomos" get assaulted as well. Oddly, I don't think that's happened to Ghislaine Maxwell yet, but then again, she's been helping the inmates with yoga, Pilates, education, and other stuff that helps with rehabilitation. She's still a perv.
1
@DemiGod.. And that has to change.
1
@mattstanford9673 Or because they're told by other boys/men that what she did is a good thing, and they know that they'll be ostracized if they feel otherwise. This boy has suffered a lot of backlash.
