  4. The latter part is true, but the former part is nuts. Tariffs harm nearly everyone. Virtually all economists are opposed to tariffs, and the empirical evidence is clear.

  6.  @matthiasfiggaro9337  The protests were more heavily masked; among other reasons, people do a lot of standing/sitting around eating/drinking at Independence Day gatherings.

  7.  @matthiasfiggaro9337  Masks provide some protection against the chemicals the police deploy, and plus they're partial disguises, so they were pretty common. The serious spreads have come from bars/restaurants/churches/the arena in Tulsa, and unmasked outdoor gatherings are unwise also.
