@silentmajority8365 I have a history degree, although not in American history, but I certainly have studied plenty of that, and not just in school! Whom should Lincoln have sent back, and to where? More importantly, what the hell does that have to do with this video?

Among many other reasons, Israel is a pretty wealthy country that does not need any of our money.
17
It's not either/or. This is partially off the subject, but the police are under no legal obligation to help anyone. The SCOTUS has ruled on this more than once.
16
It's true everywhere that the cops are under no legal obligation to protect anyone. The SCOTUS has ruled on this more than once.

@silentmajority8365 ?
7
It's not an uncommon clothing design, but yes, it fits.
6
They didn't create these conditions.
5
@emmanyc I thought so!
4
You don't know what the FBI's duties are.
3
That's not what's happening, and you know it.
3
Rightly so.
3
The cops are under no obligation to help anyone.
3
@olesilverbastard9830 That's exactly what it was. They nearly prevented certification of the election, came very close to lynching lawmakers, and would have caused a constitutional crisis. It was part of a larger string of attempts by Trump to stay in power, as we're learning day-by-day.
3
The police are under no legal obligation to help anyone. The SCOTUS has ruled on this more than once.
3
@conductor6577 That is not what they voted for. That's silly.
2
@donkeykong9674 Most of the police fought bravely; some of them seemed to collaborate with the attackers (but not by giving tours). That's no great surprise.
2
@jillstone3328 I've been to several BLM protests, and there was no violence at any of them, so by definition you're wrong about "every." That's been true around the country for years now. It's also beside the point; civil unrest is one thing, but a coup attempt (or at least a putsch) is another!
2
Their charges are not violent, unlike many of the other arrestees.
2
According to the SCOTUS, the cops are under no legal obligation to help anyone in particular.
2
You exaggerate.
2
@aurorasstorm5877 You do realize that many people are facing very hard time, right? You've seen the footage of the heavy fighting, no? Watch "Day of Rage," mostly shot by the attackers themselves!
2
@aurorasstorm5877 People are being charged with many other, greater crimes! Where did you get this idea, and what gave you the idea that nobody's in trouble for the riots you mention? "Doing your own research" does not mean looking into conspiracy theories and other nonsense passed around on Facebook.
2
@Tjb4538 Yes, although the word is "biased," not "bias."
2
@chuckdarwin6887 Several of the attackers were caught with firearms, along with explosives. They of course had hundreds of melee weapons, as everyone can see. They came very close to lynching lawmakers, preventing certification of the election, and causing a constitutional crisis. You've seen the leaked DOJ notes that just came out in the last couple of days, no?
2
No, they don't have anyone's back.
2
On the contrary, that sort of thing leads to more delinquency. I'm willing to bet that these kids experienced beatings growing up, and surely saw lots more domestic violence. There's a reason that every major medical organization in the world opposes hitting children (though it should be obvious).
2
The SCOTUS has ruled that cops are not obligated to help anyone.
2
You don't have a clue about any of this.
2
*bear
2
Their charges are mild compared with many others. The channel Plants and Politics has a great many videos about the different arrestees, and what they are charged with.
2
It's not either/or. Besides, cops are not under any legal obligation to protect anyone, according to the SCOTUS.
2
Most of the city is fine.
2
The SCOTUS has ruled that cops are under no legal obligation to protect anyone.
2
I've learned some new slurs. Reported.
2
According to the SCOTUS, cops are not obligated to help anyone.
2
No, because there's news reporting and then there's commentary/opinion.
2
*there Also, according to the SCOTUS, the police are under no obligation to protect anyone.
2
And?
2
Racist copypasta reported.
2
You don't know what you're talking about.
2
Those sorts of discussions are in different videos.
2
It's not either/or. Also, note that cops are under no legal obligation to help anyone.
2
Nor are they obligated to do so, per SCOTUS.
2
He's technically correct if they're under 18.
2
?
2
@the-truth-hurts Or perhaps look into alternatives to police as we know them.
2
According to SCOTUS rulings, the cops are under no obligation to protect anyone. Don't count on them for anything good.
1
Police don't do that in general. They're law enforcement; they show up after the fact and take notes, and they enforce petty regulations. According to the SCOTUS, they are under no obligation to protect anyone.
