  6.  @bensmith7932  For years I've read variations on what you just wrote. That's my point. It's a convenient narrative, but it's not accurate. Among other things, married Black couples began having fewer children, and the Drug War took away huge numbers of fathers, and rendered many more men unmarriageable.
