  6.  @21stCenturyCRUSADER  Look at the history of the term "Palestine." It goes back to around 1150 BCE. While the term "Israel" might be slightly older than that, it referred to a people who were in a small part of Palestine, but only a small part.

  7.  @dasael11  Most Ashkenazim (and perhaps Jews with origins elsewhere) are, genetically speaking, only loosely connected to Palestine, if at all. Now we're getting into the "Blood Quantum" mess. That term is usually used in the US as part of debates about who "counts" as being Indigenous, and yet not all tribes see it as a matter of "blood."
