  10. I don't know specifically, but I can tell you that the increase in crime across the country during the pandemic has also affected Republican-run cities like Jacksonville, among others. Plus, rural, GOP-dominated areas are awash in meth and heroin, and the crime that ensues. Hell, rural Alaska had a state of emergency not long ago!

  11.  @slapshot68  That's the point. Crime was already starting to decline, at the same time as it started (and continued) to drop across the US and in many other countries. Notably, the Great Crime Decline is still with us, despite the uptick in violence during the pandemic.

  15. This is off the subject, but if anything like Life 360 had existed when I was growing up (cellphones existed, but not smart phones), I would have just left my phone at home. Apparently, some kids are doing just that.
