@whotao-tf1gw I'm in some circles that have a wildly disproportionate percentage of trans/non-binary people. Something strikes me as strange about it, and it's gotten me thinking about this a lot. I see comments like those on this page, and scenarios like in the video, and I wonder: Are people losing sight of how one can be "masculine" but still a female, or more "feminine" and still male? Doesn't it just reinforce sex roles (and gender roles?) to say that one should change one's gender if one doesn't fit into the narrow binary? I am very reluctant to discuss this in person, because it's enough to get one branded as a bigot (TERF!), despite having no hostility towards trans people.
