Comments by "Scott Charney" (@scottcharney1091) on "Anti-Gun Advocates in SHAMBLES as Ohio Enacts Constitutional Carry, Crime Goes DOWN: AG David Yost" video.
@liamsdad33 This isn't necessarily tied to guns, but keep in mind that L.A. and S.F. are much less dangerous than Bakersfield, Fresno, Lexington KY, Tulsa, OKC, and other places that are usually/often governed by Republicans.
2
@MilwaukeeF40C It is, as a matter of fact. In 2019 AG Barr declared a State of Emergency for rural Alaska due to violence. The most violent counties in the country are rural, usually in the Deep South (again, I'm talking about rates of violent crime). I am not anti-gun, but let's always keep the facts in mind.
2
@nomdeguerre8464 Really, what demographics do you mean? Be specific.
2
Arizona has higher rates of violent crime than CA does. I am not anti-gun, but please live in reality.

No, it's the orchestra kids who play violin.

Why might it have happened?

@cegrif01 If you're unvaccinated, good luck in your quest for the Herman Cain Award!

Leftists are pro-gun. We always have been. Liberals are known to be squeamish about guns, but the further left you look, the more guns you find.

@nomdeguerre8464 Leftists are pro-gun.

This isn't mainstream?

@unboxedcharacter Most of the crime in Chicago is very concentrated, and no, NYC does not have skyrocketing crime. In fact, it dropped last year. I am pro-gun, but tell the truth.
1
@Mike-gt1cs I'm pro-gun, but the news sensationalizes crime stories. People nearly always think that crime rates are higher than they really are. Crime rates dropped in NYC last year. The most dangerous parts of CA are in Bakersfield and Fresno, not the "big Democrat cities" you hear about. There are numerous other examples.
1
@unboxedcharacter Skyrocketing knife and car bombs? Again, I am pro-gun, but you don't know what you're talking about.
1
@derpityderp-derp4007 "Shitties..." Grow up. The most dangerous parts of CA are Bakersfield and Fresno, much more conservative than L.A. and other parts of the state. Crime dropped in NYC last year. Several GOP-run cities are much more dangerous than the places you and others like to disparage. I am pro-gun, but please live in reality.

@melgillham462 What demographics are these?
1
@PrinceIsot Republican-governed cities are often notably worse than the Democrat-governed cities you like to disparage.
1
@alikhat1647 It's worse per-capita in rural areas.

The worst rates per capita are in rural areas. Regarding cities, Bakersfield and Fresno are the most dangerous parts of CA, and GOP-run cities (Jacksonville, Tulsa, OKC, Lexington) are often much worse than NYC, L.A., etc. I am not anti-gun, but live in reality.
1
@keithmerce3863 Not necessarily. Bakersfield and Fresno are the most dangerous parts of CA, and GOP-run cities (Jacksonville, Tulsa, OKC, Lexington) are often much worse than NYC, L.A., etc.

@90swerethebest10 Really? Who and where?
1
@nomdeguerre8464 I can imagine a lot. Please be specific.
1
@nomdeguerre8464 Which is? Don't be coy.
1
@tomjackson4374 Look at Riker's Island. People have been kept in there awaiting hearings (let alone trial) for longer than their sentences might be! This is why bail systems are so awful. They punish people too poor to make bail.
