The math doesn't work (not even close) regarding having children to get food stamps (or the modern equivalent). The same goes for Section 8. This comes from the "Welfare Queen" canard, and it's not just tiresome and outdated, it's harmful. (For one thing, welfare as we knew it no longer exists post-1996.) Do you seriously think that the woman here had the children (and the man became their stepfather) for the purpose of getting some illusory benefits?
