That happens in El Salvador. Note that since the vast majority of abortions present as miscarriages, that hypothetically means that any miscarriage in the country could be an abortion, would hypothetically require investigation. The anti-choicers aren't entirely sure what to do about that, for the most part.

That's actually logical; if one thinks that embryos are tantamount to babies, then such exceptions don't make sense. A lot of anti-choicers don't actually seem to think that, or they wouldn't support such exceptions (and they would oppose IVF, etc.). Thus, it's really just a desire to punish people for having sex. Sometimes they say as much.

It's a matter of sex, not gender, but that's beside the point, which is that religion is a hell of a drug.

@jimmiephippen4237 That's not true. Murder involves killing a person; embryos & fetuses lack personhood. That comes later. There's no harm in not being born.
