@Mike_Honcho_8653 I hope that you're being disingenuous. Having an abortion hurts no one. Remaining unvaccinated endangers the already vulnerable, prolongs pandemics, and wastes crucial medical resources. If you want to win the Herman Cain Award, that's your problem, but unfortunately that's not the only result.

@James-i5t2j Not at all. The crucial factor is personhood, the criteria that make killing wrong: sentience, the will to live, biological autonomy, and everything else that's taken away when a person is killed. In a rudimentary way, babies have that. Embryos and fetuses don't, and can't. There's no harm in not being born.

@evolutionistheflyingspaghe2702 True, and irrelevant.

@winstonsmith8565 No, we aren't. What are you talking about?

@winstonsmith8565 Why do you think that YT would do that? Why not mention some reputable sites with empirical, peer-reviewed evidence?

@evolutionistheflyingspaghe2702 Location is beside the point. The question is a matter of personhood, the criteria that make killing wrong: sentience, the will to live, biological autonomy, and everything else that's taken away when a person is killed. No one minds not being born. There's no harm in it.

@evolutionistheflyingspaghe2702 I'm not 100% sure about when personhood begins, but I can tell you that it's after nearly all abortions are performed, if not all completely. Dr. Jen Gunter, who has up close and personal knowledge of this, has written pretty thoroughly on it. No, a will to live does not precede being born. Biological autonomy refers to embryos and fetuses being inextricably tied to a host organism, in a quasi-parasitic nature. Someone can presumably be found to take care of a newborn.
1
@evolutionistheflyingspaghe2702 You could try to set that standard, but I don't think that it passes logical tests, for lack of a better phrase. Someone can presumably be found to take care of the people you're referring to. (Note also, regarding comas, that life support is disconnected on a case-by-case basis.)

Embryos and fetuses aren't pro-anything. There's no harm in not being born.

@evolutionistheflyingspaghe2702 Babies have a rudimentary personhood, but it's completely genuine and legitimate. One can say that their instincts show a will to live, and sentience, but more importantly they are no longer in a quasi-parasitic state with a possibly unwilling host. Someone can be found to take care of them.

@David..832 Yeah, you're complaining about people by assuming & sneering that they would complain.
