@farvasstache6532 Said account will suffer if the tariffs mentioned here go into effect. Those are mind-boggling, and economists across the spectrum are clear on it. (Economists are nearly all in favor of as much migration as possible, and they are right.)

@farvasstache6532 The stuff about treaties and similar agreements, in this case regarding refuge & asylum. It's legal to ask for asylum from within the US, no matter how one entered. Also, consider Posse Comitatus.

@kennethpereyda5707 Ludicrous, backwards tariffs, and a huge military operation (possibly running afoul of Posse Comitatus) involving mass roundups (how do you think that would work?) and internment camps. All of this (and the draconian abortion measures) involve large-scale state involvement, and lots of expense.
