You're not much of a free thinker. In any case, if you think that an embryo is tantamount to a baby, then rape exemptions/exceptions make no sense. In contrast, since embryos lack personhood, and there's no harm in not being born, nobody owes you a reason.

If you think that an embryo is tantamount to a baby, then rape exemptions/exceptions don't make sense. In contrast, if you realize that embryos and fetuses lack personhood, the criteria that make killing wrong, you'll understand that nobody owes you a reason for having an abortion. It's none of your business.

There is no baby.

Stop shouting. Also, nobody owes you a reason for having an abortion. That's none of your business. It's also one of the safest procedures in medicine.

The issue isn't life, it's personhood, the criteria that make killing wrong. Embryos and fetuses lack that.

@johnwelch615 What, get aborted? So what if I had? I just wouldn't exist. My mother is pro-choice; that's one way to know that I was wanted. There's no harm in not being born.

@johnwelch615 Human being? Yes. Person? Not yet. Also, it's not a child yet.
1
@johnwelch615 No, that's dubious regarding pain.

@johnwelch615 No, it's not demonstrably false (unfortunately, one can't include links in these comments anymore), and if anything, Democrats shy away from this sort of detail.

@johnwelch615 Once again, the question is personhood, not life.
1
@johnwelch615 Of course there is such a thing as personhood. What makes you think otherwise?
1
@johnwelch615 If other people can benefit (even have their lives saved) through the use of my organs, then yes. (Are you familiar with Honor Walks?) Otherwise, no, because discontinuing life support doesn't involve dismemberment.
1
@johnwelch615 They're not children. We were talking about disconnecting life support, and you asked if it was okay if, in that case, I got dismembered. If that was due to organ donation, then sure. If that wasn't going to happen (perhaps none of my organs were suitable), then there'd be no reason to dismember me post-mortem.

You should study how these things happen. Your questions will be answered.
