He and his team found that there is no racial disparity in lethal police violence (although the methodology is controversial), but there was a notable such disparity in non-lethal violence by police, and Fryer himself notes the damaging spillover effects of that. A lot of people love to crow about this study ("See? BLM is nonsense!"), but they're rather missing the point.
