@guttersnype00 Cobain didn't write any part of Live Through This. He has a very small backup vocal part, but that was his only involvement. Hole played early versions of some of the songs on that album before he and Love even got together, and in any case everybody else who was in the studio (who is alive to tell, RIP [& justice for] Kristen Pfaff) has said that they were writing the music while there.

@justgetbread1596 No, @Darrin Nunyah is probably referring to the band Hole, fronted by Courtney Love.

@sabbracadabra Not so. There's a lot of evidence of Courtney's musical limitations, but Kurt didn't write Live Through This. Again, some of the songs appeared live before Kurt & Courtney even met, and the others were written in the studio, as multiple witnesses can attest.

@a5dr3 *you're Also, it's Dylan Carlson. Dylan Thomas was a poet.

@dvs620 Grohl? I don't see anything about that. Now, something a bit like that happened on Celebrity Skin. Deen Castronovo recorded the drum tracks, although Schemel played on the demos.

Rajveer They hooked up shortly after Cobain's death. I don't know about it happening before that.

@Dom Koyuki For all the suspicious things, El Duce was a fool (at best) with no credibility. There's signal and noise, and his statements are the latter.

@a5dr3 Fake epidemic? Your credibility is shot.

@anathema4841 And after.

@guttersnype00 Influences, sure, inasmuch as Hole were a part of the same scene as Nirvana, and also because the songs that they wrote while recording Live Through This were written after Kurt and Courtney were together. As for Celebrity Skin, yeah, the co-writers are in the credits!

@FacheChanteDeux That's true, but that's after the fact; she went off the deep end during that time. She was drug-addled during the months leading up to Kurt's death, but not like *that*. People say that she couldn't mastermind any plot, and that's true; if she did do anything nefarious, it's why the possible murder plot seems so incompetent, and she got very lucky.

@a5dr3 She hadn't planned anything at the time of the Rome incident. She might not have even thought about it.

@nonyobussiness3440 *lose Also, nobody knows that she would get half of his estate, and greed is one common motive, especially for someone like her, in her addled state no less!

@jonnyfavors7585 That's the point. It's short for "would have."
1
@Dr. Gabe That's a reference to "Mayonaise" [sic], right?

The recreations are based on (verbatim) the recordings picked up by Tom Grant's tape recorder.
