@Kalleosini Occupy carried out publicity stunts all around the country, calling attention to (originally) the corruption and other factors that caused the Great Recession, massive and worsening inequality, and much more. These issues were barely being discussed, and certainly not at a high level. We got that to happen, and it really hasn't stopped. It's a factor now in Presidential campaigns, both the nominating process and the election itself. As far as I'm concerned, we succeeded, in spite of everything.

@Kalleosini Indeed, it never should have gotten to that point. We've come a long way, but we still don't have a sufficiently thorough understanding of neoliberal capitalism and the damage done.
