@dragonrider269 That's not true. Just because Country A put rocks in its harbor, making trade more difficult, that doesn't mean Country B should do the same thing. Some places (Singapore, for one) have removed their tariffs unilaterally.

@dragonrider269 That's not true. Comparative advantage shows that there are things that certain economies shouldn't bother trying to do, and instead should focus on what they can do better. I think that (if I recall correctly) Singapore once dropped all tariffs (and the like) unilaterally.
